The Mercedes-Benz W111 was a chassis code given to a range of Mercedes vehicles produced between 1959 and 1971. The Mercedes 280 SE 3.5 Coupe was the final model of this series and important for the Mercedes-Benz brand, as it was the first car of the V8 brand with a sports character. The production of the 280 SE 3.5 coupe and convertible was launched in March 1969 and finished in July 1971. The factory produced a total of 4502 copies of this 3270 coupe. Model Coupe is a beautiful, classic body line, which is the evolution of the 220SE model by Paul Bracq. The 280 SE 3.5 was fitted with the engine 3499 cc V8.
